The Zen Den rents private bedrooms within a shared house. Each resident has their own bedroom and shares the common areas: the kitchen, the bathrooms, the living room, the laundry and the backyard.
Upstairs are three furnished bedrooms. The finished basement has a private bedroom, with its own living room area being finished next to it. Utilities are included, there is free parking at the house, and a bus stop a short walk away connects to the PATCO train into Philadelphia.

Utilities are part of your rent, so there are no separate bills to set up. Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Under construction: the space next to it is being finished as a private living room for this bedroom. It still needs paint and a few outlets, so it is not ready yet. Ask about the timing when you inquire.

A short version of the house rules. Every resident signs the full rules with their individual room lease.
Treat everyone in the house with respect. Never enter another resident’s room without permission.
10:00 PM to 8:00 AM every day, and considerate noise levels at all times.
Clean up the kitchen, bathrooms and living room after each use. Use only your own food and supplies.
You are responsible for your visitors and must be home while they visit. Overnight guests need advance written approval.
A drug-free property. No smoking or vaping anywhere indoors; outdoors only in designated areas.
Considered case by case with advance written approval: a $200 refundable pet deposit and $25 a month. Assistance animals are handled separately.
Keep your room clean. No changes to furniture, paint or locks without written approval, and report any damage promptly.
Keep doors locked and do not share keys or access codes.
